Season;; Winter.
Temperature;; Ranging from 7 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit during the day.
Changes;; On September Ninth.
Breeding;; Yes.
Birthing;; No.
Info;; The temperatures have dropped, but snow is not a common thing throughout the lands. Instead, Rain and Fog seem to be more common this season. The air is usually pretty chilly during the day, and especially at night. Many of the canines should be looking for Winter sheleters and packs or other canines to stay with. Remember, while food is sarce, it is always easier to survive the cold season with others. However, it means that breeding is officially open and birthing will be coming up next month!

The Cullens are still living in Forks. Since word got out about the defeat of Victoria and the newborns, vegetarian vampires from around America have been travelling to visit the Cullens. They are unhappy with the amount of power that the Volturi have, and seek a more forgiving coven to rule them. Carlisle was welcome to having these vampires as part of their extended family, and they live in and around the Cullen's territory.
Many non-vegetarian vampires have also heard of the Cullens, and wish to join them if they are to rise against the Volturi. Carlisle, however, does not wish for them to feed in Forks and has requested that they stay at least a few towns away. Many of these vampires have settled in Port Angeles, forming the Corder coven. Gradually, the Corder Coven has grown as well, originally led by Christopher Corder. The two covens mix often, but also fight often.
The Denalis are still resided in Alaska, but visit the Cullens frequently
The La Push pack have grown slightly in size, due to the large amount of vampires now living near Forks. Jacob Black has returned, and he's rejoined the Quileutes, taking his place again as Beta Wolf. If a war should start, it's clear that they would be on the side of the Cullens, and as the Corders are friends of the Cullens they try not to lose their tempers too often if they venture into Port Angeles.
Some werewolves from another location have settled in and around La Push, and have formed another pack--the Algoma Pack. Below is the pack's history.
Humans in the towns continue to live their lives, in an existence ignorant of the secret of the species'. Vampires and Werewolves are only fairytale creatures to them, though some of the humans have noticed something strange going on.
Nomadic Vampires coming into the area are rare, and eventually find themselves in the midst of the tension between the Cullens and Corders. Nomadic Werewolves have also come, settling most of the time in Seattle.
The Volturi's interest in the Cullens and Corders have grown, though as a group, the Volturi have not left the safe haven of their secret underground lair in Volterra.
Bonds have formed, but others have been broken.
Bella Swan has finally married her vampire love, Edward Cullen. (Dec 2008 event) Niamh Murphy, a vampire surviving the Germanic coven wars, is living with the Cullens. Other vampires, like Asher Hurst and his adoptive sister Amdise, have a residence nearby. Other vampires part of the extended Cullen coven have joined too.
The Corders have grown. Their leader, Christopher Corder, has had a long unexplained absence, prompting his second-in-command, Samantha James to take over. Lilliana Murray and Katherine Ryne are the other original Corders. Other members, like siblings Gabriel "Spector" and Bianca Williams and Ariana Jade Scott are the more active vampires in this coven.
-- -- -- -Info- -- -- -- --
When you apply to be a vampire, you can choose to either be an existing member of the Cullen coven (canon or original, depending on which canons are available) or the Corder coven, or you can be a Nomadic Vampire. Nomads don't belong to either coven, and can be vegetarian or non-vegetarian. However, if a non-vegetarian vampire starts killing in Forks, expect to be destroyed immediately by a member of the Cullen Coven. Nomads should eventually choose a non-vegetarian or vegetarian side. You can also apply to be part of the La Push Pack, the Algoma Pack or to be a Human.
The Covens and Packs are obviously going to get bigger, but we don't want them getting too big. Because of this, over time new Covens and Packs will be created. If you want to apply to have your own Coven or Pack, PM an admin.
The Volturi are part of the site plot. They're not vital right now, but as tension increases if fighting breaks out between Covens and Packs then the Volturi are going to be involved. Remember that the whole reason the vampires are all in Forks is because they prefer the Cullens to the Volturi, so the Volturi aren't going to be too happy about this. You CAN apply to be a member of the Volturi. You can also apply to be a member of the Denali Coven who is visiting Forks to help out the Cullens.
Note: Please check the News, Updates, and Announcements boards, as this may affect which character/species you can apply to be.
Morgan Parish, age 16, was found dead on the floor of her family's home that night after coming home from her therapy session with Dr. Richard Ollin. Dr. Ollin shot himself the next day, and a memorial was erected in the center of the city to commemorate him and his countless contributions to the city in the field of psychiatric care.
Welcome to Angrid.
There are no vampires in Angrid, no werewolves, no deranged men in masks looking to knock off as many people as they can with a chainsaw because they were abused as children. All of these come with ready explanation, however detached from the general perception of reality they are. What happens in Angrid cannot be explained.
Some refer to it as a presence, some call it evil, but whatever it is, it has the people of Angrid living in constant fear that they or someone they love will be the next to die. These are not natural deaths, though the authority in Angrid will tell you otherwise. A series of unfortunate and bizarre accidents account for the high death rate in the town, they say.
Black tongues speak faster than the car can crash You supply the rumours And I'll provide the wrath
There are people who say they can see the future, and then there are the people of Angrid who are subject to fantastical visions of their death in its entirety. In this town, trust does not exist and most stand alone to face their fate and the things that go bump in the night. The visions remain unspoken among families in which children fear being sent to the asylum if they confess what they see to their parents. It is a culture of constant terror, a culture of unadulterated fear, a culture that needs change.
There is a mutual agreement among the adults that life should be carried on as normal- a feat easier for those who have yet to be affected by tragedy, but a feat all aspire to achieve. Some are more skeptical than others when it comes to the policy, but what choice do they have? If it wasn't for the tiny bit of order they forced down their children's throats, Angrid would be a wasteland of chaos. No need to go about losing one's head when it might very well be severed off that night, right?
Romance is breaking every heart in two Casting shadows in the pale shade of blue
As if this wasn't enough for the citizens to deal with, a new discovery has rippled throughout the community ever since Richard Ollin's death. It seems the dead have a habit of coming back. What to do about this, no one knows, but the Police Department has begun issuing a new series of policies for the town to follow in regards to curfew, school schedules, and nightly patrols of the streets, though the reasons for these changes remain unsaid.
And policy isn't the only thing changing around Angrid. Dr. Ollin's prodigal son has taken up his father's position at the asylum, and though he lacks the tenure and classical approach his father had when it came to psychiatric care, the new Dr. Ollin has some revolutionary ideas that he would like to share with you. Stop by his office for a therapy session, and he'll give you some recommendations that are sure to blow your mind... His methods have earned him the undying approval of some and the resentment of others.
Another point of resentment harbored by the citizens is that Angrid is slowly becoming a tourist attraction in itself. Sadistic people are drawn in by the stories, and the allure of living in a town of the living dead is irresistible to the same people who venture to haunted houses for the adreniline rush. But unlike these other ventures, the stories of Angrid are real- which proved to be startling for some and the horrific fix the other's crave. But whether you like it or not, once you get into Angrid, it's very hard to get out.
If there is a future for Angrid it lies with the children. They who are the only ones who don't shy away from the horrible truths that rot at the core of the city. Alone they are insignificant, but together they may be able to stride in the direction of change, that is if their nightmares don't get them first.
Fate changes faster than the death of light You supply the envy And I'll provide the spite
Angrid is the shadowy region where the FANTASTIC, the DEMONIC and the INSANE reside.
Awaken to Darkness {BRAND NEW} « Result #7 on Jan 21, 2009, 6:51pm »
They lurk in the shadows, like wolves stalking unwary prey. Though most mortals are blissfully unaware of the danger, some recognized and hide from it. Others embrace it, joining the dark world of the immortals, living life just inches from death.
In the small town of Ramsa, New York, the biggest vampire city in North America is located: New Mayhem. A town on the brink of chaos, New Mayhem is a place for vampires to be the bloodthirsty predators they truly are. Though humans are welcome, there is no place that is truly safe. Most vampires live within New Mayhem, scorning the dwellings of mortals.
Also in Ramsa are the witches. Some are vampire hunters, who live only to destroy the bloodsuckers. Others are healers, who devote their lives to using their magic to heal others. They are the natural enemies of the vampires, and only the fact that they are stronger than humans keeps them alive.
Last are the shape-shifters. Not human, yet not as strong as the other immortals. They live on the edges of society, outcasts of the night and day. They most easily live amongst the humans, but they are part of the dark dance of the night hunt.
And, as always, the humans have no idea what is going on. They still think they are in charge, that they are at the top of the food chain. Only those who have tasted the bittersweet flavor of the darkness know what is really going on. Only they know the true meaning of the night.
Are you ready to join them?
Based on the vampire novels by Amelia Athingyer-Rhodes. You don’t have to have read them to join
HYACINTH (Vamp/Lycan/Huamn RP) « Result #8 on Jan 12, 2009, 7:12pm »
December 8th, 2289:
Well, I’ve lived to survive another day. No surprise there. I guess I should be feeling lucky. Grateful, even. But I'm not. Life just seems pointless when you can live forever.
Hyacinth is the only town left in the world, and only three species inhabit it:
Lycan, Vampire, and of course, their pray, the Human.
But this world isn't big enough for all of them.
Humans aren't aware of these races they share the land with. Lycans and Vampires are only myths! Surely they can't be real!
But no matter what the humans think, disappearances are constantly occurring within this small town humbly named Hyacinth. No one knows why. At least, the humans don't.
Lycans despise the Vampires. Vampires despise the Lycans. It's a constant war for territory and food supply. And unfortunately, the humans are stuck in the middle.
